Sheesh... I thought I had become pretty desensitised, having seen all sorts of stuff on these here internets, but those things are truly disturbing.

Meanwhile, what would happen if the UK Govt just called up the IOC and said: "Sorry, no can do, we're a bit short of cash at the moment and we want to spend it elsewhere."

What would they do? Invade us?

ROFLMAO!

I like the description as "the consequence of a drunken one-night stand between a Teletubby and the Michelin man".

Have they got enough time to fix it ... or are there 5 million small plastic replicas in a warehouse in South London?

Mandeville?

Sounds like the result of a drunken one-night stand between Peter Mandelson and Cruella DeVille.

I'd hide yer puppies from that one Shocked

I heard the "official" logo described as "Looks like Lisa Simpson giving a {sex act not allowed on family friendly forums}" - so the alternative is much better. The alternate logo at Harpymarx is much closer to the original but still has the same alternate message encoded.

The Olympic committee expects them to raise £ 80m for the games .... all I can think is that they'll still be flogging the stock off at car boot sales by the next time we are successful in winning an Olympic bid. Shocked

Is that 80 million against how much it cost to put on???

Surely they could get a better return for their cash some other way. Maybe make a couple of dozen blockbuster films. Or maybe even make the banks return their stolen money! Laughing
