Well looks good so far got it installed on ubuntu with out problems so far some nice new changes too Smile

I really hope the KDE team fixes this bug for the 3.5.0 release. It's a major visible annoyance that has made me stick with 3.4.0 for some time now. Sad

There are a few things in the kmenu thats moved about seems faster than 3.4.2 too but other than that ive not seen any thing major oh apart from 1 or 2 things added to kcontrol centre

One thing i have noticed is that my skype is not working right ie no sound when some one rings seems not to ring out works perfect in gnome :S

Have you enabled duplex sound in the KDE Control Centre?

yep every thing did work fine in kde 3.4.2 but the upgrade stopped my skype from working right every thing else to do with sound works Smile

I have found that Skype stops dead when a call comes in if I'm running XMMS. All you can do after that is kill it.

i never had that problem before the upgrade i could play games and use skype with sound from both

Have you reported this on http://bugs.kde.org/? This is a beta release, the main reason for which is to collect just this sort of information before the full release.
