This tree occupies about 30% of the bay. Rolling Eyes

Bad camera angle. Trust me. A huge part of the car sticks into the road. The tree may not be in 30% of the bay, but it eats up about that much of the room to park. Unless you want to bash your car, that is.

sorry it looked it from the photo, obviously i'm not doubting you but being generous it's would be not more than a 1\4 of the space which is 25% and more likely 1\8 which is only 12.5% or even 1\16 which is only 6.25%??
have you thought of parking your car diagonally in the space?? you would easily get it in then??

Unless they moulded that piece of concrete around the it, it looks like the tree was planted during construction... so I agree, this was plain stupid, it could easily have been planted a few feet to the left (in the hashed zone).

You try putting a wheelchair in the boot and 2 kid's seats in the back of a sensible sized car. Been there. Tried that. Next one will be larger.

As for when they were planted... They predate the disabled bays by a way. The council changed the bays to disabled and made them wider, so they ended up with badly positioned trees and didn't uproot them.

so it MUST be true? However they do seem to have the names of the victim and the guilty parties, and it's not dated April 1st.
