I am in the process of moving away from Mandrake and want to copy the file from my Mandrake /home folder to my Kubuntu folder but I need to change the ownership from uid 501 to 1001.
There was the answer on the old website but age and decrepitude have rendered my memory of the command as a complete blank, please help
TIA
