|
|
Before anyone asks, I just cleared this one with M-Saunders.
I recently got 2 new PCs. Actually they were second hand (Mum's and Brothers), but they were new to me. My old one used DDR1 RAM (2 x 1 GB installed), as did my Mum's PC (4 x 512 MB).
I got Mum's PC first and took out 2 x 512 MB and replaced them with my 2 x 1 GB. The 2 x 512 MB ended up in my old PC that is now in the kids' room.
Then my brother gave me his PC. It's higher spec, but knackered. I managed to salvage the hd and the RAM, but that's about it. It came with 2 x 1GB DDR2 RAM. I can't use it. What I can use is another 2 x 1 GB DDR1.
So here's where the trade comes in. Anyone out there who could use the RAM who happens to have a spare 2 x 1GB DDR1? Want to swap?
Here's a pic. Please don't ask me any more about it other than what it says on the stick if you can't read it. The plates are attached front and back, so I can't really give any more info.

I don't understand, how do you turn the faces of those sticks around to mix up the colours?

Either I'm more drunk than I thought or that just plain went over my head. Probably both. |

Slightly more sober now.
No, not selling cubes today. Just swapping RAM.
If I get no takers here, I'll post this on other forums. Just thought someone here would like first dibs. |

Have you lost your reading glasses, or was it just too hard to find being buried deep in the first line _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |
