A little project of mine that displays the current Weather conditions as an icon on the desktop. Works for gnome based desktops -- Not sure if it will run on others.

Inspiration: http://www.tuxradar.com/content/code-project-use-weather-wallpapers

Requires: Python and the feedparser module for python.

Sounds like a great idea, but is this different from the one that I have built into my clock on my Ubuntu desktop?
