Some time ago I installed an iso of Peppermint Ice from a (ahem) rival magazine disc.  It has been impeccable. It is fast and does everything I want it to.
In my opinion (I have nothing at all to do with this distro in any way or form) it is excellent for such a little known distro.
Any chance you could do a review in the mag and bring it to more people's attention? It is the only distro I have used over an extended period and not managed to break it! That in itself should speak volumes.
