| As per the Friday decision, expect these to be dismissed by the US courts. It's OK for US companies to claim dubious patents are infringed but when it's the other way round then the US courts feel they have to "protect" US corporate interests. That's why they are all appealing the CSIRO Wi-Fi patents and trying to wheedle out of paying the massive royalties owed. The CSIRO really only got the decision because they had working examples and diagrams (US Patent 5487069) the judges could understand. |
