Hi 64 bit Windows lovers...
A very simple question again...
Does this folder/drawer/directory exist in a 64 bit Windows 7 install?
C:\Windows\Temp
TIA... _________________ 73...

Thanks ollie...
Just one more small detail...
Is it still the default temporary store location and if I wrote a program
that tries to write data to it would I expect some UAC event?
TIA... _________________ 73...

I disabled the UAC completely. Annoying thing. If I get virused or hacked, I'll just reinstall. I don't keep anything compromising where windows can get at it! |

Yes, it is the temporary store location. There is even a directory called "Temporary Internet Files" with another directory inside "Content.IE5". Now that's backward compatibility
It shouldn't trigger UAC by the look of the various files written there. |
