|
|
Hi All,
I tried the latest Linux Format DVD (Sabayon) only to find it wouldn't load but then I couldn't boot into my existing linux installation.
All I get is theDVD boot screen (the one where you choose what distro to boot into ie Sabayon, PCLinuxOS etc)
Turning the PC off for over an hour has no effect to remedy this.
When I try to boot my original installation I still get the DVD coverdisk boot screen (even though the DVD isn't in the drive) and can't boot my PC.
What is going on?
I tried booting into a different Linux DVD which loads up in the background (An Ubuntu disk, I hear the Ubuntu boot up sound) but all I see is the Sabayon DVD boot options and then a corrupted screen
Help needed. Turning the PC off and unplugging doesn't help restore my existing installation boot process.
It seems as if the DVD has copied something to my hard drive or corrupted the boot process in some way.
I can't now boot my PC at all.
Has anyone else had an issue like this with the Sabayon cover DVD |

It's considered bad manners to double post on the same topic dsjones.
