If you want to start programming or you're struggling to get beyond the basics, see here:

You can definately sign me up!
Shall I still fart about with Python for the time being or shall I try and learn a bit of C# prior to starting? _________________ With thanks Kenco, my coding nightmares are over! |

I'll be interested to see how this academy works out. Will there be a feature on it in LXF if it's successful?!
I'm currently teaching myself C# in Mono, but having had previous programming experience before it's more a case of adapting to the way Mono works rather than learning the lingo. This is a great opportunity for noob programmers though, and they'd be insane to turn this kind of opportunity down! _________________ Bob Moss writes for LXF and is studying computer science at the University of Plymouth, UK

My thought exactly Bob.
I've done all sorts from Open Uni Courses to college courses, books and tutorials to Learn Direct courses and yet I still can't hack to save my life.
I'm uber excited about this and to see how it helps. Hell, i'd even be willing to pay for an opportunity like this.
I just hope Paul doesn't drop out 'cause it gets too boring for him. |

When will the last tutorials be posted?
The last tutorial was published Wednesday May 5th 2010 and that is not what I call regularly, as the bottom of the page states.
I wanna learn how to program with these tutorials, but I don't want to wait for them. So please either post the last toturials or recommend me another way of learning to program.

Was the C Primer in issue 149 just a one off? If so, I'd be very disappointed
Let's have some C, and then some more C! |
