| I picked LU&D in the shop the other day and an ad for what's coming up in the next issue mentioned an article about Dual-booting and Windows. Great, I thought, I've just made a royal balls up of doing just so, I'll get that. I went to the newsagent today and there's nothing in the new issue at all to do with this? Have I missed this, surely not? Can anyone confirm? |

Do they not say, as LXF does, that contents of future issues may be subject to change? _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

I suppose they can, but to make no mention of it? Seems a bit odd? |

Looking at their web site, I don't see dual booting mentioned as an article in 106. 105 or 104. I suppose that must cover the range of issues you might have seen. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

| It's in the mag, I think 105 issue near the back on a left hand page. There's a picture of the Linux penguin with a microsoft flag, and also something about Open Suse, I think. Technically it doesn't say in the next issue of LU&D, but says in the next issue... |

Ahem..... Call me picky if you like, but don't you think that you'd stand more chance of a response on the LU&D forum? _________________ The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!

Looks like it needs the heavy hand of a moderator to me. Spammy! Considering it's been around since 2009, it doesn't get much traffic. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Perhaps, if I knew such a thing existed, but I wouldn't join a forum to ask a single question that maybe someone on here would know something about. |

I have often done that, without compunction. There are so many different forums these days that they tend to specialise, eg I have just come from a forum that is all about the BT Business Hub. I had a problem about my Hub, which could be answered there, but I'd hardly want to make the place my home page. |
