|
|
I have taken over a position where I am a web designer but now I am expected to know how to do things I have never learned how to do. I need some help and am hoping that someone here can help me out.
The note I have from the previous web developer says:
"Every once in a while, truncate .jos_sobi2_plugin_sef and refresh the listing page (many many times) to regenerate the SEF links."
I have no idea what this means but I do know the previous web developer used bash 99.9% of the time to do his work so I am a bit lacking in knowing how to proceed.
Any help someone could give me would be appreciated. Thanks. |

The truncate man page will explain what the command does but not, unfortunately, what the note means. Do you not have access to the scripts he used? _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |
