Yes. Each logical volume contains a separate filesystem. You avoid the BIOS limitations and you are not restricted on one disk per filesystem. You could create a volume group spanning your disks and then create logical volumes (the LVM equivalent of a partition) at will without regard for individual disk geometry limits. _________________ "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
