Hi, recently upgraded to Mate from mint 10. I am finding that my webcam (microsoft vx1000) is behaving strangely or rather Cheese is in that the camera is working but no image is shown in Cheese. In both Photo and Video mode I can take video or photos and on stopping taking them they will appear along the bottom of Cheese as clips and then I can play/view them but while the picture/video is being taken nothing shows up on Cheese's screen... also clicking the effects button has no effect, I'm not given any options to choose from.
any ideas please.
