I have been running 11.10 all fine. I did a fresh install from a Linux Ubuntu 12.04 LTS disc. Since then when I restart my PC, it does not connect to the internet. I am using a wired connection. I have to go into my network setting, disconnect and then reconnect each time I turn my pc on. It is set to connect automatically but obviously does not.
PC is a emachine 3220. Router is Belkin F5D9630-4A.
Any help appreciated. |

Well, this time I logged in as 2D from the log in screen.
Connects to internet automatically now and PC is faster.
Result.  |

Hmm...knew it was too good to be true. Turned PC on this morning. Not connected to the internet. Had to disconnect and reconnect again from network manager.  |
