I doubt it is a premeditated attack on free software, it’s probably more a miscategorised webpage. I bet there are quite a few pages being blocked that don’t pose a threat. Sure it’s unfortunate that a page used by the Free Software Foundation was blocked, in a political sense, but I don’t think there is any maliciousness behind it, and if it is raised with Microsoft they will probably get it sorted.
In work we use a Sophos proxy and it blocked sourceforge for a while, but it was rectified and it is ublocked again. |
