Good hello all,
Distribution: Kubuntu 12.04 (64-bit)
Some time ago I decided to install GNUPGP to encrypt and sign e-mails for proof they came from me (when needed). I later changed my mind and wanted to remove the software because I was then unable to view HTML-only e-mails. I've tried to do so but cannot do this. I've changed all the Thunderbird settings I know to to enable the creation and reading of HTML e-mails but they system still won't let me do it. While I can include things like tables, change fonts and font sizes, etc the system forgets all of this when I actually send the e-mail and only send them as text-only. Some of the e-mails I receive are HTML-only and am currently unable to view these on my computer. When I try to un-install gnupg the system insists on installing gnupg2. When I try to uninstall gnupg2 the system then insists on un-installing gnupg. What am I doing wrong and what can I do to fix things?
Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance and all the best. |
