| I understand the need to pay for Linux Format Archive issues if we are not subscribers. My question is may I copy/reproduce the cover disk and pass it on to my acquaintances? If not, do they receive the cover disk when they buy a single back issue? It wasn't clear to me in the paper copy of the September issue whether sharing/copying the DVD is OK but, I am not a lawyer. |

If you click the 'Archives' link above, you can select the issue without logging in, and download the tarred source code and a torrent file of the issue. It's only the PDFs that need to be logged in for. If a torrent of the DVD ISO is available for download to non-subscribers, I would presume creation of a hardcopy would be OK; although obviously the Editor needs to confirm this. |
