Hi All,
Something different has just happened, while I was downloading some Photo's which were sent by a friend, my desktop suddenly changed to a Yellow Hue,
I have tried re-starting the laptop, but to no avail, I also keep getting the message "System fault detected, I thought that 12.04.1corrected this"
I really don't want to re-install unless I have to,
as always all help, ideas, opinions greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Jim

Sounds like the blue (or cyan & magenta) colour circuitry could have died. Try an external monitor (your TV set?) and see if that is OK. _________________ Cheers,

To check whether it is a bug in the video driver (as you half suspect by talking about a re-install), try running a live CD distro to see if the colour cast persists (should be obvious). If it persists, then it is a hardware fault. _________________ Unsolved Mysteries of the Universe No 9 :-
