LQ is probably a more educated audience, and more "broad church", Ubuntu seems to be Popular with first time Linux adopters, and the questions are more often of the "help me I'm a newbie" type.
Be interesting to see what the comparative traffic is.
IIRC, the best times to ask questions are when it is evening in America or Australia.
