MythTV seperate user recordings

Postby bobthebob1234 » Tue Nov 20, 2012 6:19 pm

So flatmate wants to have a frontend for my myth box in his room, just wondering if there is a way I can make it so he can't delete stuff I setup to record and visa versa (other than talking to each other :P )? And also that he can't tell myth when watching live tv that he wants to watch tv and for it not to record my stuff :( and visa versa?

Did a quick google and nothing popped out :(
For certain you have to be lost to find the places that can't be found. Elseways, everyone would know where it was

I looked into this recently and it appears that there is no facility for multi-user usage in MythTV, despite it being requested and discussed in 2006.

If talking to each other is so difficult, there is always email :)

Well thats annoying.

Email?!?!? What is this primitive form of communication of which you speak? Everyone facebooks everyone else, no one has email now a days :P

XBMC supports it.
