Using kde partitionmanager to add a new partition

I checked windows XP and every thjing is normal.
Everything is fine except can't use pm or gparted
to add new partitions.
How can I restore the partition table?

| Your machine probably doesn't use an MSDOS partition table, but GPT instead.... And if it's working, don't mess with it! |

Windows does not support GPT on the first hard drive and the layout with the fourth partition as an extended partition is pure MSDOS.
So try parted or gparted and if that fails System Rescue. |
