Probably, try Fleabay.
And if it's anything like Dell there are probably videos on Youtube showing you how replace it.

it doesn't really go tu it just sort of stops and then if i do a circle on tp it with then move again, hardly ideal if you've got a pair of kings and you need to get all your chips on the table 
where are these logs??

Plug a mouse in instead?
Logs, as you ought to know by now, are found in /var/log. But changes in system status can often be seen by running dmesg in a terminal shortly after the critical event.
