my touchpad on my sony vaio only works intermittently, any ideas of a fix? can you buy new ones??

it doesn't really go tu it just sort of stops and then if i do a circle on tp it with then move again, hardly ideal if you've got a pair of kings and you need to get all your chips on the table
where are these logs??

Plug a mouse in instead?
Logs, as you ought to know by now, are found in /var/log. But changes in system status can often be seen by running dmesg in a terminal shortly after the critical event. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |
