DKMS realtek RTL8188CUS

Realtek RTL8188CUS driver

My usb wireless usb adapter needs manual install on every kernel update. So looking through the internet I stumbled across DKMS.

The realtek driver has an automatic install program
Code: Select all
sudo install.sh

is there a way to use this in a dkms.conf file to auto install driver on kernel update? All the examples I found wanted the source files to implement DKMS.

Thanks in advance :)

The kernel already includes a driver for this device, rtl8192cu. Does your distro not include this module?

There is a driver but it is a known issue with the wireless device, so I have to blacklist and add realteks driver.
