Hi,

I'm having a problem getting a decent image on my WinTV-HVR-1100. I've tried most of what I've found Googling (full summary below).

This is the type of image I have been getting:

Usually the first time I open the input...

I'm trying to grab the composite input which I have a CCTV camera plugged in to.

I have confirmed that the camera works fine when plugged in to any other device (TV/Monitor).

I've tried this on Kubuntu 12.04 (using mplayer) and Ubuntu Server 12.04.2 (using Zoneminder).

The following output is from my Kubuntu install (using the same hardware as Ubuntu Server install)...
