I hope mine is waiting for me when I get home tonight. As you say, one of the best things (apart from getting it early, of course) is NO GLUE !!!

My LXF74 DVD was was waiting for me when I got home, so there! Smile

There is a review of the new Slackware in this issue, so I'm quite excited. Pity I have to do extra work to get Gnome installed, though.

I've always liked the SuSE colours, so I might have a dip into that as SuSE 10 is also on it. Anyone already using SuSE 10? What do you think of it?

FWIW, I am using the retail SUSE Linux 10.0 (boxed version) and am pleased. It is the first distribution of Linux that I have used more often than Windows on a dual boot machine. (Yes, I know that sounds like heresy to some, but it is a big step for me.)

As long as you make it clear that you are referring to the stuff that holds the disk in place, that's fine. But if you accuse teenagers of having runny noses, that could be ageist or something and the European Court of Human Rights will come and steal your /dev/null while you sleep.

Noooo, no, not a problem, I'm sure. Just make sure Rebecca isn't allowed near any sharp knives if you become LXF's OTF. Wink

Official Token Female, I believe Rebecca has the honour at the moment. Working in an industry where members of the other sex are rather scarce, I have noticed that OTFs can get very protective of their position. If you could arrange to look like a sack of old spuds then I'm sure there would be no problem Very Happy

I'm glad to see that in keeping with the spirit of the FOSS movement, the cover picture was done using alternative generic building blocks, rather than proprietary Lego(TM) or Duplo(TM) Very Happy
