Getting started with Fedora ? - LXF issue ? [Solved]

Postby GeordieJedi » Sat Jul 19, 2014 2:11 pm

Hi all.

I'm looking for a particular article and issue No.

It was (roughly) "Getting started with Fedora". I believe it was published in the last 2 yrs.
It was a beginners guide to setting up and using Fedora.
(approx 4 pages devoted to it)

I've trawled through about 3 yrs worth of issues so far and I still cannot find the article.

Does anyone have any ideas what issue it was in ?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks.

The nearest thing maybe in LXF 147, but that was a long time ago and is now pretty out of date.
Xubuntu 12.04 user, and loving it!

Hi there ajgreeny.

Thanks for the post. I took a quick look at the issue.
I don't believe that it's the issue that I'm looking for but it's close

So thank you for the help.

Cheers.

Hi again.

Well I've found the issue I was looking for = (LXF #155)

However......when I took a good look at the issue itself I discovered that it was
a beginners guide to Ubuntu.

I would have put money on it being a fedora article (as there was an abundance of blue,
lots of hot air balloon logos and it was written by Jonathan Roberts
(who is a big proponent of Fedora)).

Thanks for the suggestion.

Take it easy
