I have just taken hold of a rather nice Ergo Laptop with a 9 hour battery, now the company has agreed to sell this to my school with a linux OS thus saving a bit of money....I am researching this laptop, and have installed MDK 2005 (10.2) now I am having problems with the internal wireless card. Its an Intel 2200BG, it says its connected and says its working but won't ping or pick up the rest of the network...I have tried niswrapper, using the mdk installer and still it doesn't work....all the sites I have been to say its supported, I have tried installing the the driver etc and no luck...anyone have any info on wireless, this is really important and the lappy goes back in 1 1/2 weeks as its a test one.
Any help will be well, helpful!!

Sorted, it was the Mandriva firewall, opened a couple of ports and all was well and worked. _________________ My knowledge comes with no warranty...........
