OK I've installed syllable 0.6.0 using the basic.iso from the Syllable web site.
I'm having trouble setting up the network interface. Main machine is running OpenSUSE10, eth0 using ne2k module connected to internet via ISP and DHCP, eth1 using static IP 192.168.0.1.
The Syllable machine is using and ne2k compatible network card. I want to set things up so it has static IP 192.168.0.2 and uses the SUSE machine as the gateway. I've tried looking at the docs on the syllable web site but to no avail.
Can anyone help? Do I need to install more software than the basic install? _________________ Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent |

Have you tried the Network Configuration tool in the Preferences box? You can access it from the Syllable menu or by browsing the filesystem.

Yes I've tried that but no joy so far. I'll try again later when I have more time. _________________ Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent |
