Although its officially out tomorrow, I've been using it since yesturday as a torrent turned up on digg.
http://digg.com/linux_unix/Fedora_Core_5_Final_Screencast
If you visit #fedora they tell that its near as damnit evil to obtain it this way, but the way I look at it is it should help give the main servers less of a hammering during the mad scramble to download a new release from one of the big distros.
So far I've seeded 1.5GB, I think thats a good thing, others may not agree though.
You also run the risk of downloading dodgy iso's of course. |

You also run the risk of not being able to install the nvidia drivers, from what I have read, but apparently that will be fixed with the first kernel patch. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Yep, thats true, but that wont be fixed in the iso's _officially_ made available tomorrow either.
Still, makes a change to use a version of gnome which isn't brown _________________ I think, therefore I compile |

Well, since Fedora Core 5 has finally been released, I shall expect to see a review of it in LXF three weeks ago. _________________ 800 LINES ERIC - GET BACK TO PYSKOOL |
