I use M$ wireless multimedia keyboard and mouse. Embarassed

I really must get lineak configured one day.

I think a bigger problem will be getting everyone to upgrade their hardware just to run Vista:

As long as new computers come pre-installed with Vista and OEM crapware, it will be the same as usual. Most people will have Vista and the people who don't will wait until SP1, and by that time will have upgraded their hardware to a Vista standard.

Yes more of the adventurous type may switch. At the end of the day if all the guys who fix everyone in the streets computer use Linux.
