if i was to install mandriva or any linux distro could i still run other live distros? also if i wanted to remove a linux installation how would i go about it?

Yes, you can still run live distros, in fact they might run a little better, as they will notice you have some swap space and be able to use it.
Uninstalling is particular to the distribution you choose, Mandriva do provide instructions on how to remove their distribution. _________________ Bye, Rhakios
