Hi folks,

I was reading through my copy of LXF80 and I came across the letter from Andy Richardson titled "FOSS open days".

Myself and a couple of members of my local LUG (Devon & Cornwall LUG) have been looking at setting up a not-for-profit organisation to promote the use of Open Source software in Devon. We have been having discussions since early January about promoting the benefits of FLOSS to the local community, and one of the ideas we have been mulling over is similar to what Andy proposed in his letter.

I'm not sure if Andy reads these forums or not, but I'd like to get in touch with him. If anyone else is interested in getting in touch regarding this idea (especially anyone in the Torbay or Devon areas) then drop me an e-mail to rob@esdelle.co.uk.

Regards,

Rob Beard
