Oh maybe, maybe not. It's a pretty weird world and fully qualified demonologists must be pretty thin on the ground. He might be able to walk right into a position with some millionaire eccentric _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Given only those two choices, the answer has to be "summat". _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

First of all you want to study English to learn how to spell DEMONOLOGY (tho` it could be DAEMONOLOGY, depending on the mythology you wish to follow) and COURSES!!
Then, such courses would probably be covered as modules in something like either Psychology or one of the Theology based subjects. |

Or Cultural Studies. Or you could study the Witch Craze of early modern Europe in a History course. Or you could lok at them in a sociological framework. Or...
In fact, you don't say what aspects of these topics you'd like to study. I think you'd better sort that out first. Then you could find a university course that woud give you the specific study skills you need. Once you have learned these, you could do your own independent research. |

I think as the OP hasn't revisited this topic, that he may have been intending some sort of humour; which is why I offered a serious answer to start with _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Does daemonology cover such mystic topics as configuring sendmail? _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

It is, but since sendmail is a daemon, it must apply here too _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

OK, so you've established that daemonology is the study of background processes in *nix systems. Some think that Bill Gates and his MS minions are not far from being a nest of vampires therefore, following that line of thinking, vampirology must be the study of Microsoft software. Clearly, what the OP was asking for was a recommendation for an IT course. |

Doesn't that mean vampirology would be a study of MS business methods? I suppose the main course reading would be "How to buy friends and brainwash people". _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |
