Tyneside LUG will be meeting in the People's Gallery of the Discovery Museum, Newcastle upon Tyne, on Saturday, 14th October. We should hopefully get started at 11 o'clock, to finish at about 4.
Members of the public will be free to bring along their PC to this event. Experienced Linux users will be on hand to assist with the installation of Linux, or to solve problems people are experiencing with existing Linux computers. Installation media will be freely available to take away. Support is ongoing, of course - Tyneside Linux User Group is happy to help with problems by email, IRC (chat) or at our monthly meetings.
Bringing a PC is not mandatory. If you just want to come and talk about Linux, or you want to see what Linux looks like on somebody else's PC, then come along.
