I have the source code for Gimp in :
file:///rroot/gimpshop-source-2.2.10.tar.bz2-Ark
but despite the instructions given on page 77 of Christmas 2006 linux format I am unable to install it. I got it on a disk from Gimp shop at Linux-distro.co.uk at a cost of 4 pound and I asked for an installed version.

What have you tried? What are the error messages? Without that info it's hard to provide any help!

Right click and extract to extract all and it says these files could not be extracted because they allready exist..
In shell Konsole
root@1[~]# tar xjv/mnt/root/gimpshop-source-2.2.10.tar.bz2/gimpshop-2.2.10 |
