On of:
Code: Select all
which mozilla
rpm -ql mozilla | grep bin/
locate mozilla | grep bin/

You won't be able to install Shockwave on a Linux box - there's no Linux version of it so you'd need something like CrossOver to make it work.

which mozilla
rpm -ql mozilla | grep bin/
locate mozilla | grep bin/

is the ' | ' part a pipe as in C ?
and i have just looked at crossover and i thought that was what wine or xine did(or not as the case may be?) and if you don't use macromedia what do you use?

Shouldn't that be waddle? Will you be writing up a report on the run again?

nelz wrote:Most of the web is utter twaddle, why should I be left out?

Well, I'm sure you post utter twaddle elsewhere on the net nelz, but on this forum your posts are usually to the point and helpful. Time spent posting replies to 1sf (troll) could be spent helping those who are deserving :mock pious smiley:

What is it about the word "yes" that you don't understand 1sf (troll)?

well i wasn't to know  i just thought with all this talk of linux not getting as many viruses it wouldn't be wriiten in the seive that is C
when i had a look at the phlak live distro it was not only encouraging virus writing in ?tcl? but also giving tutorials(as long as you had redhat installed)
i will be writing a report again(good or bad)
Shouldn't that be waddle?

as i have already said i will be the fat knacker at the back :D

i think i can see a bit of a jealous streak there rhakios :D

What has piping a command in the bash shell got to do with programming in C? Pipes are one of the fundamental parts of Linux and have, so far as I know, nothing to do with the C programming language. In a plumbing sense it makes sense to use a pipe to transfer the output of one command to the input of another. In any event, the kernel is almost entirely written in C, I'm surprised you didn't check before you dared to install it on your machine, feeling worried now?

i think i can see a bit of a jealous streak there rhakios

Nah, you can chew the fat with nelz as much as you like, but I think M0PHP and Rob have been missing you on the PCPlus forums. :D

nelz would be better picking the fluff out of his belly button than talking twaddle with 1sf (troll) in my humble estimation
