You're complaining about conceptual errors in a forum that was basically created for 1sf (troll)? _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

I just realised that we need to make Linux an accepted religion.
Just like Jedi knights, we can avoid paying income tax, and even VAT!
We could even have a winter festival with penguins instead of a fat man with reindeer.
We could call it TUXMAS!
and we could have TUXMAS puddings, with black fruit cake and white icing, TUXMAS cake, Kids sitting on Father TUX's Knee, andwe could hang up SCO stockings _________________ The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!

Now starting work on a new Tuxmas story, "A Tuxmas Perl script"
Starring Linus Torvalds as the long suffering Bob Scratchitt, with Bill gates as Trooge.
Guest appearances from The SCO company as Tuxmas past, Steve Ballmer as the
ghost of Tuxmas present, and (nominate your favourite here, dial 0900800TUX to vote) as the ghost of Tuxmas yet to come. _________________ The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!

But it doesn't now.
This thread must seem terribly confusing to anyone who's come in while it's been going on. But, there again, I'm not going to explain it. I'll just refer anyone who asks to 1sf (troll). |

Some one said to me recently ...
(not a quote)
There is proof that there is a number(s), that are greater than infinity !
hmmmm, just wondering ... did they mean something like ...
infinity + 1
We need the fish, at least to explain these things.

Infinity + 1 = Infinity
This infinity stuff really does your head it, but it's great fun once you get the hang of it. _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

Also: infinity - 1 = infinity
at least according to today's sinfest.

Aha, knew it ... infinity is -1, all bits used ... well, the size of 1 might be a better way to think of it.
I was starting to worry about that for a while (grin)

I still can not help thinking that a slice of slice of fruit cake, and a drop of port, would not do the slightest bit of good when confronted by a clockwork granny, even if her coefficient of drag were to be multiplied by several orders of magnitude. _________________ Oh, sod it. |
