I know the Plymouth branch of WHSmith sells quite a few Linux magazine titles, so it would seem safe to assume that there are a fair number of Linux users in and around Plymouth.
I propose that a Plymouth LUG (PlymLUG?) be set up. Gurus & Newbies alike welcome!
Would anyone in and around Plymouth who would be interested in such a group please contact me by either leaving a message here, or emailing me at anthonybradley10[at]virginmedia.com

I’ve been wondering about this. I noticed that you did some events at Plymouth Uni and thought you must have some members from Plymouth already?
I would love to be a part of a Plymouth based LUG. I’m a computer enthusiast who has been a Windows user for most of my life but about nine months ago switched to Linux and I’m never going back.
I’m a multimedia developer and would be able to organise and build sites and resources but I lack the in depth knowledge that most people will be seeking. However I’ve had a great time spreading the word and have converted many people. Most who only used there machines for web and word processing and were shocked to find such a great OS available for free.
I’d love to come to your next meeting and find out more. |

Would that mean to ask for help you'd shout "PLUGH"? _________________ Where's the Kaboom? There's supposed to be an Earth-shattering kaboom!
