I found this link interesting, nice quote:
"Indeed, Aero looks nearly as good as KDE, although it demands about three times the system resources."

| I wonder how many Europeans will dump Windows after their latest pricing scam. Probably few. |

I did read that article - on digital tv spy forum under computing - and thought it summed things up.
Did you know it won't let you have Firefox as a default browser? A damn fine reason not to touch it IMHO. _________________ Candy

I enjoyed this review of Vista on The Register. Especially this bit:
Quote:
Indeed, Aero looks nearly as good as KDE, although it demands about three times the system resources.
I'm sure Gnome aficionados would disagree
|
Interesting, that worked, the whole quote has become a link, well, the text bits anyway _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

I know, if ever a subject belonged in Off-topic, it's motogp, but there we go. I'm not going to bang the "keep on topic" drum lest I be accused of hypocrisy _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

vista
Plural
vistas
vista (plural vistas)
1. A distant view or prospect, especially one seen through some opening.
2. A site offering such a view. |
Which is as close has I want to get to it.
I suppose I'll have to use if they upgrade at work but that's another story. |
