Hi Rhakios,
I have to say i'm not using PCLinuxOS, just found about my problem in this forum.
I'm using Debian Lenny with 2.6.24 and Fluxbox, so no KMix either...I guess If I install kdms-alsa-driver and use alsamixer will work as well, right?

If you are using Lenny, then I'dbe surprised if you have dkms-alsa. The dkms sytem (dynamic kernel module support) has only been used to any great extent by Mandriva and PCLinuxOS. I haven't found any for Debian, though if you have you could give it a go.
Dkms is mostly used to get non-native kernel modules set up to run against a kernel after a kernel update, for example, Mandriva use it for the Nvidia drivers and other non-free kernel modules. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |
