Ubuntu re add cdrom to repositories - errors PGP key

Postby rossc0 » Wed Jul 06, 2005 10:36 am

Hi,

This probably is really simple - but I've managed to loose my pgp key fro my ubuntu 5.04 dist - what do I need to do to get it back so I can re add my ubuntu cdrom to the repositories ?

Thanks

Any one ??

I think I've managed to delete my apt pgp settings as when I update the repository packages everyone errors with NO_PUBLIC KEY errors.

How do I set up my apt-key ?? I tried using apt-key add but I'm not sure what to add and when I tried the Release.gpg from the install cd I got a:

gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.

message - so I'm pretty stuck at the moment - crashing round google but to no avail...

Any help appreciated!
