There are 2 models:here and here
Maybe they are trying to beat ASDA (Walmartuk) to the punch. _________________ The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!

Very interesting. Although the latter doesn't specify which distro... and states:
"PC Sound Card": "6 x 2.0 USB"
6 USB 2.0 sound cards? ...hmm, mistake? Along with:
"Features of Product:
Less prone to virus attacks
Integrated support on PDF creation
Multiple platform file sharing"
The strange details don't inspire the most confidence. But I am looking for a new system (for a family member) but he "needs" MS Office for compatibility with work (has dual boot Win98/Office XP and Linux/OOo2.3 atm) - otherwise I'd set up just Linux (cheaper, easier for me to admin!).
I'd never heard of eSys before - are they any good on the whole? |

IIRC Ebuyer do some eSys systems with Linux pre-installed, so I expect they are the same ones. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

| well looking at the Tesco PC it looks like a poor atempt at entering the PC linux market, I would be intrested in how many numbers they have sold............I certainly wouldn't buy a poor mans intel box. |

But still, I feel I should buy one just to encourage them to continue allowing people a choice, even if most people havent the knowledge to make a educated decision.
Good one Tesco, never thought I'd say that !! |
