Hi,
Can anyone recommend a native BBC Micro B emulator?
I feel like playing Repton and Elite but I haven't got a TV to use with my Beeb.
I've used windows BBC emulators using Wine but they run too slowly.
But that may be because I used a PII laptop, and everything seems to run slowly on that. |

Do you need and emulator or just those games? There are ports of both those games to linux. A quick google for 'repton linux' will yield a result in the top 10 and for elite you need oolite.

I've got a faster computer now so I'm using BeebEm on WINE. I couldn't get the UNIX version to install so being lazy I chose the WINE route.
Thank you for all your suggestions! |
