| I would like to say a big congrats to the Mike OS team for making the big release of 1.0, Also great job on suburb documentation, more then I have seen for a small hobby OS, every aspect of the OS is well documented with help on how to make your own OS. Now though is there a chance we could see it on the LXF coverdisc anytime soon? |

Thanks Dark, glad you like the documentation. Yes, maybe I can put it on the LXF99 DVD

Hi Raimo,
You can get it from http://mikeos.berlios.de
I'm planning to release 1.4.0 soon which has lots of small updates.

If you go to the old SourceForge page, it redirects to the BerliOS site now. (I'll completely delete the former soon, but there are still various links to it.) If anyone's looking for project hosting, I really recommend BerliOS -- it's so much faster, cleaner, more reliable and easier than the horrible morass of code that is SourceForge.
And it's better for your users too. Inexplicably, SourceForge doesn't even remember your choice of mirror for more than a session or two, pointing you at all manner of slow download locations when you want to quickly grab a file. Very, very annoying.
OK, rant over

Yeah administrating a sourceforge site can be fun when the severs are being hammered remember a session where it took me an hour to delete a few spam bots on the vegastike forum
